Job Description

We are seeking ambitious post-doctoral fellows to join our marine energy group to engage in a broad range of research and outreach activities. Duties may range from analysis and evaluation of existing data; modeling of interactions between ocean energy systems and marine animals, effects of ocean energy generation on physical and biogeochemical conditions; development and testing of energy devices or environmental sensors; or science communication and engagement of stakeholders including the research community, government regulators, and the ocean energy industry.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years (60 months) or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Excellent organizational skills are needed. Experience engaging with a range of groups or individuals representing industry, the research community, and government staff is very desirable.

Earned PhD. in marine or aquatic science, or engineering with marine applications
