The Recruiter partners with senior management and HR Business Partners to develop the acquisition elements of a Talent Management Strategy to meet the current and future talent needs of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. The Recruiter will collaborate with the Recruiting team and hiring managers to identify and match candidates to specific needs; perform all aspects of recruiting activities for both internal and external positions (sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, negotiation and closing); utilizes a variety of effective sourcing techniques; works with compensation analyst to make salary recommendations; work to achieve metrics and goals including quality of applicant pools, diversity, number of hires, and time-to-fill; represents the Laboratory at recruiting and diversity events; ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws and policies; develops and manages effective working relationships with Managers, HR staff, and staff throughout the Laboratory; provides direction/guidance to an HR Assistant in the course of performing various recruiting services, and travels as required. Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, advanced degree and 4+ years of relevant experience. Professional license and/or certification may be preferred.¿Focuses on the customer and serves as an advisor to hiring managers to execute staffing needs

Understands and employs strategic use of social media and recruitment tools to represent opportunities
Teams effectively and approaches challenges with courage to deliver highest-value impact to the customer
Recruiting/sales and client management experience.¿
Enjoy making cold phone calls (daily), and being able to engage and influence via all communication means down to the individual level.
