This is a position in the Ecology Group at Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory (PNNL). The successful candidate will participate in various projects where analysis of environmental data is required. Applicants should have a strong background in environmental science, data analysis using statistical techniques, and programming. Responsibilities include data processing and analysis, and report writing
Candidates must have received a Master’s degree within the past 24 months or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 required.
The candidate will have a master’s degree in environmental science, biology, fisheries, computer science, math, or a related field. Experience with managing data (MS Excel, SQL), analyzing data (programming), and writing (e.g. reports, publications, thesis) is required. The ability to work well both independently and in a team setting is necessary. Experiences in spatial data analysis (GIS) is appreciated.
The candidate will have a master’s degree in environmental science, marine biology/ecology, fisheries science, computer science, math, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience using R and/or Python.
