Job Description

Applicants are sought for postdoctoral positions in computational and experimental studies of the biophysical chemistry of biologically active peptides and small proteins containing non-canonical amino acids. Successful candidates will have experience and/or interest in applying one or more of the following approaches to the study of peptides and small proteins: structural biology, structure modeling/design/prediction, molecular dynamics simulation, conformational analysis, thermodynamics and biophysical chemistry, solid phase peptide synthesis, protein expression, and NMR spectroscopy. In addition to technical competence, candidates should also have strong written and verbal communication skills and be willing and able to work collaboratively and productively, in an interdisciplinary environment, on challenging research problems.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years (60 months) or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must have received a PhD degree in a relevant discipline.
