Job Description

A postdoctoral researcher is needed in the Catalysis Science Group for experimental research. The position will be focused on catalysis and characterization of hydrogen storage materials, with an emphasis on the design, synthesis, and characterization of catalysts and liquid phase energy storage materials.


Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years (60 months) or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university.


Preferred Qualifications

Relevant experience includes:

Synthetic and mechanistic organic/inorganic chemistry

Handling of air-sensitive materials

Proficiency with a range of spectroscopic techniques, particularly NMR

Kinetics and thermodynamics


Preferred skills:

Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

Proficient in written and verbal communication

Independent and highly motivated

Ph.D. in Chemistry or Material Science
