We are seeking an outstanding scientist to join our Battery Materials and Systems group to explore new battery materials chemistry and electrochemistry, including metal anode electrochemistry and new cathode materials. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be study of electrochemical interface/interphase, development of new electrode/electrolyte materials. The candidate will also prepare manuscripts for publication, present the research work internally and externally at national/international conferences, and develop new ideas for the funded research.
Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years (60 months) or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university.
The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other related fields within the past five years from an accredited college or university and have experience in one or more of the following areas: expertise in electrochemistry, strong background in battery materials and devices; extensive knowledge and hands-on skills in material preparation, battery assembly and testing required.
Demonstrated record of publishing in first class journals and an ability to collaborate effectively on a teaming environment are required. Must be safety orientated.
3.5 GPA or higher is preferred
