The Battery Materials & Systems Group within the Energy and Environment Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is currently hiring a PhD intern for a battery material research project. This internal position will work on material synthesis and study the fundamental issues behind. Knowledge and experience of material synthesis (scaling up), characterization, battery assembly and testing will be preferred to consider. The candidate in material, chemistry, electrochemistry, engineering background is encouraged. The candidate will also prepare reports and manuscripts for publication.
The candidate must have material, chemistry, electrochemistry, or engineering background.
Candidates must be currently enrolled/matriculated in a PhD program at an accredited college. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
3.75 GPA or higher is preferred.
