PNNL is seeking to find talented software engineers who are passionate about development in one or more of the following areas:
Front-end developer – developing novel web-based user interfaces using modern tools and frameworks such as React & Redux.
Software Systems Engineering – bringing a systems perspective to delivering full-stack software-centric applications built on SharePoint using a variety of programming languages, technologies, and development frameworks
TASKS YOU MIGHT WORK ON:
Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems, web interfaces, and/or applications in SharePoint.
Implement back-end services or SharePoint add-ins in C# connecting to various data sources in support of User Interfaces or larger software systems
Leverage cloud technologies for software delivery
EXPECTED OF YOU:
Apply knowledge of software engineering practices (e.g. source control, problem tracking, design principles, etc.) with minimal oversight
Take initiative to set personal direction and goals
Stay current about industry developments
Work collaboratively within a team to execute on the full system development life cycle

Sharepoint Developer level 1:
Working locally as an individual contributor. Building and maintaining effective internal relationships on individual or team level. Receives instruction on required tasks and reports results on time and on budget, while working under guidance from experienced staff. Takes initiative to set personal direction and goals. Work is conducted with a high standard of quality, safety, and security.
Sharepoint Developer level 2:
Receives guidance on new assignments, making preliminary selections on technical alternatives; independently completes recurring assignments. Defines and leads project work at a small task/project level, reporting results on time and on budget. Building networks at a local and capability level. Effectively teaming to share resources and optimize research and development at the group and division level.

BS/BA with 2 years of experience. MS/MA with 0 years of experience. PhD with 0 years of experience. 2+ years of experience in a web development field preferred.
Experience actually using/writing:
Scrum and Agile development principles
Git source control
Experience with SharePoint
