It’s all about leading our efforts to advance the state of electronic communications and unified communications tion at PNNL. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and management of our electronic messaging platforms that include on-premises and cloud based infrastructure. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and management or our Skype/Teams Unified Communications infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities would include:
Manage and monitor Office 365 services and hybrid infrastructure.
Develop and maintaining Enterprise level design, configuration and management systems for Microsoft Exchange on-prem, and Exchange Online with focus on migrations.
Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related user access to cloud services.
Collaborate with other IT engineers, including networking, security, and system administrators, to facilitate effective issue resolution.
Provide technical expertise in ensuring the electronic communication and collaboration is secure.
Write procedures and documentation for processes to aid in troubleshooting and review.
- Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or PhD with 3 years of expereince; a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree.
Office 365 or any other Microsoft certifications a plus
Experienced and well versed in all Microsoft environments with 5+ years of experience with Office 365 migration tools
Considerable knowledge of managing Office 365 and other related cloud solutions
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and it’s interaction with Active Directory
of Office 365 Teams/Groups/SharePoint/Power BI
Advanced skills managing Office 365 using PowerShell, to run tasks, perform and automate procedures
Understanding of firewall requirements needed for all Office 365 functions
Thorough working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot all issues with DKIM, DMARC, SPF & DNS
Demonstrated ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Exceptional communicator with both technical and nontechnical audiences
Strong interpersonal skills with the to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to solve challenging technical problems with innovative solutions
A focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery
