This position will serve as the HRM – Employee Relations and be primarily responsible for providing lab wide support within employee relations that includes conducting investigations, policy interpretation, dispute resolution, staff and management coaching on performance, etc.. The HRM may also partner with staff across HR on the direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of HR projects. Additional focus could include: Benefits, Wellness, Compensation, Staff Development, Diversity, HR Information Systems, Staff Training, Immigration, Compliance or Student/Intern Programs. Assignments and focus will vary depending on the current priorities and needs of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Advanced degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional license and/or certification may be preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience working as an HR Manager/Generalist in employee relations, conducting workplace investigations, expertise in anti-harassment and anti-discrimination requirements, HR policy design and implementation, compensation and salary determination, and HR Generalist duties.

  • Experience in coaching staff and management on performance management and policy interpretation.

  • Project management experience.
