The hiring level will be determined based on the education, experience and skill set of the successful candidate based on the following:
Software Engineer level 2:
Receives guidance on new assignments, making preliminary selections on technical alternatives; independently completes recurring assignments. Defines and leads project work at a small task/project level, reporting results on time and on budget. Building networks at a local and capability level. Effectively teaming to share resources and optimize research and development at the group and division level.
Software Engineer level 3:
Developing and optimizing capabilities at the division level. Developing external reputation. Building effective project teams with membership across a group, S&E domain and/or directorate. Contributing to the local organization through mentorship of junior staff and taking on operational assignments.
BS/BA with 2+ years of experience MS/MA with 0-2 years of experience PhD with 0 years of experience .
BS/BA with 5+ years of experience MS/MA with 3 years of experience PhD with 1 years of experience
Experience using Git to manage/share code with a team of developers
Experience with object oriented PHP
Experience with custom Drupal module development
5+ years of web development experience
3+ years of Drupal development experience
Demonstrated ability to innovatively solve technical challenges using Drupal 7 and Drupal 8
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, etc)
