Job Description

The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is seeking ambitious, high caliber undergraduate students for assignments within the National Security Internship Program (NSIP).

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please apply to join us as an intern for the Electronics & Measurement Systems Group, in the Systems Engineering & Integration Division. We’re looking for smart, innovative, and motivated students who have a passion for solving critical challenges and delivering solutions that address those challenges. The Electronics and Measurement Systems Group includes more than 55 staff with expertise in electrical engineering, physical sciences, mechanical engineering, and computer science. The group technical contributions range from concept development to feasibility testing and evaluation, prototype development for lab and field evaluation, development and deployment of equipment to meet client application requirements, and commercialization of technologies.

Positions are available in Richland, WA, based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be degree-seeking students enrolled at an accredited college or university. Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall GPA of 3.3.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a future security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.


Preferred Qualifications

•Mechanical Engineering

•Software Engineering/ Development (specializing in Data acquisition, analysis and visualization)

•Embedded Systems Engineering

•Cyber Security or Information Technology with emphasis on Internet Security
