Job Description

We are seeking several outstanding scientists to join our multi-disciplinary team for energy storage research to investigate cutting edge technologies in the advanced lithium metal batteries and explore other energy storage systems. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be the development of novel non-aqueous lithium ion electrolytes to improve the Coulombic efficiency of lithium metal anode, to suppress lithium dendrite growth and to be stable at high voltage cathodes, the development of materials, the fabrication and testing of electrodes and batteries, and the final products delivery. The candidate will also prepare manuscripts for publication, present the research work internally and externally at national/international conferences, and develop new ideas for the funded research.


Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years (60 months) or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university.


Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking several outstanding scientist to join our team. Each candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or other related fields within the past five years from an accredited college or university and have experience in one or more of the following areas. Prior experience with development of energy storage materials including non-aqueous electrolytes. Strong background and knowledge in fundamental materials synthesis and nucleation materials for advanced electrode materials for battery applications. Extensive knowledge and hands-on skills in batteries, battery assembly and testing required. Good experience in Li-S batteries desired.

Demonstrated record of publishing in first class journals and an ability to collaborate effectively on a teaming environment are required. Must be safety orientated.
