Job Description

We are looking for a Ph. D intern with experience and interest in power system dynamic state estimation. This position will be expected to perform the following tasks:

(1)Assisting with implementing of dynamic state estimation algorithms;

(2)Testing and analysis of estimation results;

(3)Coding.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be currently enrolled/matriculated in a PhD program at an accredited college. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

Preferred Qualifications

The candidate must

(1)Have deep understanding of power system dynamics;

(2)Be familiar with measurement-based power system monitoring (especially, about phasor measurement units and wide-area measurement systems);

(3)Have solid professional knowledge of power system state estimation (especially dynamic state estimation).

Ph.D. students in electric power system or related field.

4.0 GPA is preferred
