Job Description

- Responsible for the pre-award activities, coordination with management, and administration of the University Joint Appointments, Inter-laboratory Agreements and Interagency Agreements (IA’s)

- Responsible for preparing, presenting and analyzing statistical reporting to Department management and Lab staff in support of acquisitions and sales reporting to DOE, Balanced Scorecard Program and Socioeconomic activities, as well as other queries and reports, as requested throughout the Lab.

- Responsible and accountable for vendor management including interaction regarding various reporting aspects including accounts payable, tax, foreign, and socioeconomic.

- Learn to use professional contracting concepts; limited use and/or application of principles, theories and concepts. Applies existing contracting methods to well defined problems. Has ability to think creatively and is mentally flexible

- Manages personal work. Follows standard contracting practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

- Responsible for supporting, identifying and leading, in some cases, process and operational improvements.

- Positively interact with a wide-variety of PNNL staff and clients of all levels.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience. Advanced degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access and Excel. Must have strong customer support skills and be independently motivated to solve problems. Candidates must have be able to create queries, reports and analyze data. Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form effectively with internal and external staff at all levels. Working knowledge of PNNL sales and acquisition processes and ability to apply this knowledge to creating queries and managing agreements.
